Applicants are required to undergo a review of their application materials and a comprehensive interview assessment, with no written examination. The interview will be jointly conducted by professors from PHBS and SMU, focusing on evaluating the applicant's management experience, research potential, and overall capabilities.

The DBA program has a duration of four years. The first two years consist of intensive classes held every two months for 3-4 days, while the third and fourth years focus primarily on doctoral dissertation research. The program adopts a dual-city teaching model, with classes held at the Peking University HSBC Business School (Shenzhen Xili University Town) and Singapore Management University (Singapore), integrating academic resources and practical advantages from both Eastern and Western contexts.

DBA课程学制为四年，前两年每两个月集中授课3-4天，第三、四年以博士论文研究为主。课程采用双城教学模式，授课地点分别为北京大学汇丰商学院（深圳西丽大学城）和新加坡管理大学（新加坡），融合中西学术资源与实践优势。

The DBA program includes core courses, elective courses, and practical modules, covering topics such as advanced economics, management theory, innovation and entrepreneurship, corporate governance, and big data applications. The DBA programme is primarily delivered in Chinese, with some courses taught in English (accompanied by simultaneous interpretation). There are no special English language requirements.

Upon completion of the required credits and successful defense of the doctoral dissertation, students will be awarded the Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) degree conferred by Singapore Management University.

The tuition fee covers coursework instruction, teaching materials and handouts, translation services, dissertation supervision, and dissertation defense fees. Travel and accommodation expenses for overseas modules, as well as all personal expenses, are to be borne by the student.

学费包含课程学习、教材讲义费、翻译费、论文指导费、答辩费等。国外模块的差旅费用需自理。个人费用均自行负责。

If a student is unable to complete the dissertation or meet graduation requirements within the standard four-year period due to exceptional circumstances, an application for graduation extension up to six years may be submitted. The extension must be approved by the faculty, and the duration and associated fees will be governed by the program's regulations. The faculty will continue to provide mentorship and resources to support the student in successfully completing their studies and meeting the graduation requirements.

若学生因特殊原因无法在4年内完成论文或满足毕业要求，可申请延期毕业最长至6年。延期需经学院审批，延长期限及相关费用将按照项目培养规定执行。学院将提供持续的导师指导与资源支持，帮助学生顺利完成学业并达到毕业标准。
