Peking University HSBC Business School (PHBS) was established in 2004, with Professor Hai Wen, then Vice President of Peking University, serving as the founding dean. In August 2008, HSBC made a donation to support Peking University’s vision of building a world-class business school, and the school was officially named “Peking University HSBC Business School.”
 
PHBS aims to create an internationalized teaching environment and is committed to cutting-edge academic research in the fields of economics, finance, management, and financial media. The school strives to build a world-class “academy for business leaders,” cultivating individuals with leadership, self-discipline, and a broad global perspective. Currently, PHBS holds all three major international accreditations in business education—AACSB, AMBA, and EQUIS—attesting to its excellence in teaching and research on a global scale.
