In his weekly commentary, SMU adjunct faculty member Larry Haverkamp wrote about three myths on investing. These include the assumption that investing in a home requires sophistication and expertise; buying unit trusts and funds managed by smart people garners the highest returns; and holding shares for the long run is certain to make money.
