Commenting on the recent announcement of the Singapore Public Sector Outcomes Review by the Ministry of Finance on Thursday, SMU Professor of Economics (Practice) Augustine Tan pointed out that the salary increment of some workers were funded by the Government's Wage Credit Scheme. He noted that this was not sustainable in the long run.
