Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office and Second Minister for Home Affairs and Trade & Industry, Mr S Iswaran pointed out that Singapore would adopt a two-pronged approach to create growth for our economy and more job opportunities for our citizens. The long-term economic growth of Singapore would be between 3% and 5%. If this projection is not achieved, there would be fewer employment opportunities for Singaporeans. Minister Iswaran was commenting at the 5th MTI Economic Dialogue held on 3 September, which was attended by some 200 students and faculty from SMU, NUS and NTU.
