The SMU Master of Science in Financial Economics (MSFE) meets the demand of the financial sector by providing a holistic and multidisciplinary approach to financial economics. It delivers foundational knowledge in economics and econometrics and their applications in the finance industry, along with essential skills for financial accounting practices and relevant financial law and jurisprudence. The course is delivered with a focus on solving problems that may occur in the future, anticipating regulations that aim to minimise the negative impacts of financial crises.
